Gershwin At Its Best
I missed "Three Dance Episodes from On the Town", but it didn't matter because the best was yet to come. Snider's score for her film was nice, so I enjoyed the film more because I was able to use my imagination to interpret what the film was conveying. I was late.
Steven Ho gave some information about a win in rugby and Welsh linkage. But, the "Overture to The School for Scandal" was the surprise. The music provided a countryside story line that was so refreshing, and I enjoyed this immensely.
At times, I didn't hear Thibaudet piano in "Concerto in F Major for Piano and Orchestra", but a touch of Gershwin's "Rhapsody" can be heard. I truly enjoyed these pieces and the orchestra was amazing. I truly believe Llewellyn enjoyed conducting here and the orchestra playing. I will attend this again in the future.
